Rinca Island is a small island near Komodo Island, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.
On this island live various types of animals such as dragons, wild pigs, buffalo and birds.
This island is known for the existence of Komodo dragons because here is an excellent place to see Komodo dragons in their natural environment with few people disturbing Komodo dragon habitat. Rinca Island can be reached by small boat from Labuhan Bajo in western Flores. The area of Rinca Island is 198 square kilometers. There is Pasir Panjang Village which consists of several hamlets, namely: komodo hamlet, bajo hamlet, new banyan hamlet, jaya beringin hamlet, kukusan hamlet, kerora hamlet.
